  1. Wash the hair daily and apply a generous amount of conditioner. While the hair is saturated with the conditioner complete the following steps:

    1. Detangle the hair using a wide tooth comb.

    2. Once all the tangles have removed comb all the hair in one direction.(front to back)

    3. Using the nit comb provided, comb hair form from to back starting at one ear and working your way over the scalp to the other ear.

    4. Next, flip the hair over and comb all the hair from back to front using a wide tooth comb to detangle.

    5. Once all tangles have been comb out, use the nit comb to, once again, comb from ear to ear, (back to front) working your way from one side of the scalp to the other.

    6. Then complete the process by using the nit comb form one side of the head to the other.

    7. (Basically you are combing the hair all four directions)

It is normal to experience itching for a few days after treatment due to residual itching form the lice bites. The itching can sometimes continue longer due to the scalp being more sensitive from the combing process. Also, just thinking about it can make your head itch!

Finally, the product the technician left you with should be put on dry clean hair to spray hair and/or scalp in the same manner the technician have demonstrate.

Repeat the above combing procedure on a daily basis.

NOTE: It is imperative that the above be adhered to for the 45-day guarantee to be in effect.

All treated household member should actively avoid exposure to head lice by avoiding contact with those known to be infected. The combing routine will remove any detached dead nits and remove any new infestation should the treated person come into contact with anyone infested. In the worst-case scenario, if a louse reattaches, you’ll simply comb it out, thus eliminating the issue.

During this time, we recommend focusing your time, energy and attention on the prescribed treatment

plan rather than attempting to locate any stray lice in your home. Head lice can only survive off the human head for 48 hour. While delousing the home is important, the combing process is the key essential to avoid re-infestation.
